A little while back, a loyal customer spontaneously declared her love for our at-home treatments on social media. We were, of course, overjoyed. We decided that we wanted to get to know her better, so we reached out to her. Once we got to know Ingrid, and both parties realised how well we got along, a natural collaboration evolved - you might recognise her from pictures and videos on different platforms. She is now part of the Swiss Clinic family, so we thought we'd like to introduce her to the rest of you!
My name is Ingrid Andersson, I am 27 years old and work as a stylist at H&M. I have lived in Stockholm, Sweden for the past 6 years, but I'm originally from Gothenburg.
My everyday environment is rather hectic, and that takes its toll on both body and mind, as well as my skin. I am not complaining, this is a conscious choice, but it is therefore extremely important that I am mindful of the stress I am subjecting myself to and look after myself properly. I exercise regularly, am always reminding myself to remain mentally calm and balanced, and a while back I decided to incorporate Swiss Clinic skin care products into my daily skin care routine.
As long as I can remember, my skin has been very sensitive and a bit complicated, almost like it can't make up its mind - I know I am not alone in this, but nonetheless it is frustrating. Not typically dry, nor oily, but occasionally super-dry, then extremely oily. I also suffer blemishes and clogged pores when stressed or on my period.
It's been three months now, since I started using my Swiss Clinic products, and the difference in my skin is incredible! My skin has a natural glow and elasticity, and I feel like my breakouts are under control.
What my daily skin care routine looks like?
In the morning, I start by cleansing my face with Micellar Cleansing Gel, after which I apply the Face Serum, Day Cream and Eye Cream. My evening routine looks exactly the same, except I swap the Night Cream.
I am also completely obsessed with Face - Microneedling Home Treatment , which reduces lines and scars, as well as with the Face Dry Mask - I mean, who doesn't love to pamper themselves with a moisturising face mask every now and then? Try it - your winter-dry skin will love you for it!
I use these treatments when I when I feel that I need them. I'd say that on average, I use Skin Renewal every two or three months, and then I roll for 5 to 7 days and follow this with an equally long break, before I start rolling again.
I can never get enough of the Face Dry Mask, but I try to limit to using it 1-2 times a week.
My friends and family, (who might be a bit tired of hearing me raving about Skin Renewal) often ask me if it hurts to use the Skin Roller. I can honestly answer no - I do not find it painful.
Everyone has different pain thresholds of course, so if you have extremely sensitive skin or are worried that you might find the treatment painful, start off gently, with the shorter needle length (0,2mm), and when your skin is used to the treatment, if you want to, you can change over to the 0,5mm Skin Roller.
I would go so far as to say I am in a relationship with Swiss Clinic, and we are so very happy together!
